CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BEC Team Training

Get ready for an exciting summer of skill-building, conditioning, and elite cheer training! Blaze Elite Cheer Summer Training is designed to help athletes strengthen their fundamentals while advancing their abilities in stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, conditioning, and elite performance technique.

Athletes will work on proper stunt technique, teamwork, timing, and Level 1–3 stunt progressions while also focusing on tumbling skills ranging from beginner fundamentals to back handsprings and tuck progressions based on individual readiness and experience. Training will also include jump technique, flexibility, strength, endurance, and overall athletic performance development.

In addition to skill training, athletes will participate in elite performance and showmanship instruction focused on confidence, energy, facial expressions, eye contact, performance quality, and crowd engagement to help athletes perform with power and presence both on the mat and on the sidelines.

This program is perfect for athletes preparing for school cheer, competitive cheer, tryouts, or those simply wanting to improve their overall cheerleading abilities in a fun, positive, and high-energy environment.

Athletes should wear Blaze or all-black athletic clothing, cheer shoes or sneakers, and bring water to each training session. This class is only for registered Blaze Elite Cheer athletes.

Tumbling Class

This class is designed for beginner and early-intermediate athletes looking to build a strong tumbling foundation while progressing through Levels 1–3 skills. Athletes will focus on proper technique, strength, flexibility, coordination, and body control in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment.

Skills taught may include forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, bridges, backbend kickovers, front and back walkovers, introductory back handsprings, perfecting back handsprings, introductory tuck drills, and perfecting tuck technique based on each athlete’s level and readiness.

Our coaches provide structured instruction and individualized attention to help athletes safely develop confidence, improve skill execution, and progress at their own pace.

Athletes should wear athletic clothing, sneakers, and bring water to each class.

Stunt Class

This class is designed for beginner and early-intermediate athletes who want to learn and improve the fundamentals of cheer stunting in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Athletes will focus on proper technique, body positioning, timing, communication, balance, strength, and teamwork while learning Level 1–3 stunt progressions.

Skills may include stunt basics, load-ins, thigh stands, prep-level stunts, extensions, cradles, transitions, beginner tosses, Level 2 skills such as single-leg stunts, liberties, tic tocs, and sponge transitions, as well as Level 3 stunt skills including extended single-leg stunts, inversions, release transitions, and more advanced stunt combinations based on each athlete’s experience and readiness.

Coaches will emphasize safety, confidence-building, and proper stunt execution while helping athletes develop trust and teamwork within their stunt groups. This class is perfect for cheerleaders looking to strengthen their stunting fundamentals and safely progress toward more advanced skills for school or competitive cheer.

Athletes should wear athletic clothing, cheer shoes or athletic sneakers, and bring water to each class.

Elite Performance Training

This high-energy class is designed to help athletes develop strong performance quality, confidence, and overall stage presence through pom technique, dance, and showmanship training. Athletes will focus on sharp motions, clean visuals, synchronization, flexibility, musicality, and performance execution while learning how to captivate an audience and judges alike.

Special emphasis is placed on showmanship — including energy, genuine enthusiasm, confidence, eye contact, facial expressions, and overall athletic performance quality throughout routines. Athletes will learn how to perform with confidence and personality while maintaining strong technique and crowd appeal.

This class is perfect for cheerleaders, dancers, and performance teams looking to improve their presentation, enhance routine performance, and strengthen overall competition readiness.

Athletes should wear athletic clothing, dance shoes or sneakers, and bring water to each class.

Athlete Stretch & Jump Class

Improve your flexibility, strength, and overall athletic performance in our Athlete Stretch Class! This high-energy class is designed for cheerleaders and athletes who want to enhance their jumps, flexibility, and mobility while building the body control needed for strong, confident performance.

Each session combines deep stretching, active flexibility drills, jump technique, and core conditioning exercises to help athletes increase range of motion, improve body control, and reduce the risk of injury. Whether you’re preparing for tryouts, improving your toe touch, or building stronger jumps, this class will help you move with power, precision, and confidence.

Flyer Training

Take your cheerleading skills to new heights with our specialized Flyer Training class! Designed exclusively for cheerleading flyers, this program helps athletes build confidence, improve technique, and strengthen performance in the air. Whether you’re a beginner learning the fundamentals or an experienced flyer working toward elite-level stunts, this class focuses on the essential skills needed to excel safely and successfully.

Led by experienced coaches, athletes will participate in drills and progressions that improve body control, flexibility, balance, and aerial awareness. Flyers will train with dedicated stunt groups to build consistency, trust, and confidence while mastering proper technique and body positioning.

Class Focus Areas Include:

Core strength, balance, and body control
Flexibility and body positions (heel stretch, scorpion, arabesque, etc.)
One-leg stunt technique and body shaping
Dismounts, transitions, and stunt progressions
Injury prevention and flyer conditioning
Mental toughness and performance confidence

Tot Cheer & Tumbling

Get ready to jump, shake, and cheer! This fun and energetic class introduces toddlers to the exciting world of cheerleading through music, movement, and play. Little cheerleaders will build coordination, balance, listening skills, and confidence while learning basic cheer motions, simple jumps, beginner tumbling, and fun chants in a positive and encouraging environment.

Designed especially for ages 3–4, Tot Cheer focuses on age-appropriate activities that keep children active, engaged, and smiling while encouraging social interaction and motor skill development.

One parent or guardian is required to attend and participate with their child during each class to help provide support, encouragement, and a fun bonding experience.

No experience needed — just bring comfy clothes, sneakers, and lots of spirit!

Tumbling - Beginner

This class is designed for athletes who are new to tumbling and want to build a strong foundation of skills in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment. Participants will learn proper body positions, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while working on beginner-level tumbling skills such as forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, bridges, handstands, and introductory walkovers.

Our coaches focus on technique, confidence-building, and skill progression to help each athlete develop at their own pace. This class is perfect for cheerleaders, dancers, gymnasts, or anyone interested in learning the basics of tumbling.

No prior experience is required — just wear athletic clothing, bring water, and get ready to have fun flipping into new skills!

Tumbling - Walkovers

This class is designed for athletes ready to advance their tumbling skills by focusing on front and back walkovers. Participants will work on flexibility, strength, balance, body control, and proper technique while learning and improving walkover progressions in a safe and supportive environment.

Athletes will practice drills and conditioning that help build confidence and prepare them for more advanced tumbling skills. Coaches will provide individualized instruction to help each athlete progress at their own pace while emphasizing proper form and skill execution.

Recommended prerequisite: athletes should have a strong bridge, kickover, and handstand proficiency before enrolling.

Tumbling - BHS & Tucks

This advanced tumbling class is designed for athletes working on mastering back handsprings and progressing to standing and running tuck skills. Athletes will focus on proper technique, power, timing, strength, flexibility, and body control through drills, conditioning, and skill-specific progressions in a safe and supportive environment.

Coaches provide individualized instruction to help athletes build confidence, improve execution, and safely advance their tumbling abilities. This class is ideal for cheerleaders and tumblers looking to strengthen existing skills and work toward higher-level passes.

Recommended prerequisite: athletes should already have a solid back walkover and/or back handspring foundation before enrolling.

Athletic clothing, sneakers, and water are required. Come ready to work hard, build confidence, and take your tumbling to the next level!

Tumbling - Open Gym

Open Gym Tumbling provides athletes with supervised gym time to practice and improve their tumbling skills in a fun, safe, and flexible environment. Athletes can work independently on current skills, drills, conditioning, and technique while receiving light coaching guidance and skill tips from staff when needed.

This is a great opportunity for cheerleaders and tumblers to get extra practice, build confidence, and continue progressing at their own pace outside of regular class time. Open gym is open to a variety of skill levels; however, athletes should practice only skills they can safely perform.

Athletes must wear athletic clothing and sneakers and bring water. Come ready to train, have fun, and sharpen your skills!

Private & Semi-Private Tumbling Sessions

Private and Semi-Private Tumbling Sessions offer personalized instruction tailored to each athlete’s individual skill level and goals. These focused training sessions are designed to help athletes improve technique, build strength and confidence, master current skills, and safely progress to new tumbling abilities at their own pace.

Athletes will receive customized drills, conditioning, and one-on-one coaching attention in a supportive and encouraging environment. Semi-private sessions allow two athletes of similar skill levels to train together while still receiving individualized instruction.

These sessions are ideal for athletes looking for extra practice, skill-specific training, competition preparation, or accelerated progression. A 3-session minimum commitment is required to allow athletes adequate time to build consistency, track progress, and maximize skill development.

Private Session Rates:

$40 for 30 minutes
$60 for 1 hour

Once you register for the waitlist, a coach will contact you to schedule your dates and times.

All athletes should wear athletic clothing, sneakers, and bring water. Scheduling is based on coach and gym availability.
