At Overlea Tumbling, we are dedicated to helping every athlete build confidence, strength, discipline, and skill in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our experienced coaches provide quality instruction designed to meet each athlete where they are and help them progress at their own pace.
We believe every athlete is unique, which is why our training programs focus on proper technique, safety, positive encouragement, and individualized skill development. Whether your child is taking their very first class or working toward advanced tumbling goals, our team is committed to helping them succeed both in and out of the gym.
We proudly offer programs for boys and girls ages 3–18, with classes designed for all experience levels, including recreational athletes, dancers, school cheerleaders, and competitive cheerleaders.

Gym Policies
Attendance Policy
Consistent attendance is important for athlete safety, skill progression, and overall development. Due to limited class sizes and scheduling, missed classes cannot be made up, transferred, or credited.
Safety Policy
The safety of our athletes is our top priority. All athletes are expected to follow coach instructions, gym rules, and safety guidelines at all times. Athletes should only attempt skills appropriate for their level and under coach supervision.
Participation in tumbling, stunting, cheerleading, and related activities involves inherent risks of injury. By participating in Overlea Tumbling programs, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks. Overlea Tumbling, its staff, coaches, and facility are not liable for injuries, accidents, lost items, or damages that may occur during participation.
Weather Cancellation Policy
In the event of severe weather or emergency closures, families will be contacted as soon as possible regarding class cancellations. Notifications may be sent through email, text message, or social media announcements.
Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued for missed classes, withdrawals, or program cancellations by participants.
Parent Viewing Policy
To help minimize distractions and maintain a focused training environment, classes are closed to parents and spectators. Parents/guardians are welcome to wait in the hallway or designated waiting area during class time.
Our Programs
Tot & Parent Classes
A fun introduction to movement, coordination, and beginner cheer/tumbling skills for our youngest athletes. Parents or guardians participate alongside their child to create a positive and engaging learning experience.
Tumbling Classes (Levels 1–3)
Structured skill-based classes focused on proper technique, strength, flexibility, and progression. Athletes work on skills ranging from rolls and cartwheels to walkovers, back handsprings, and tuck progressions.
Team Tumbling
Designed for school cheer teams, rec programs, and competitive athletes looking to strengthen standing and running tumbling skills together. Team training focuses on synchronization, conditioning, technique, jumps, and performance readiness while building confidence and teamwork.
Stunting Training
This class is designed for beginner and early intermediate athletes who want to learn and improve the fundamentals of cheer stunting in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Athletes will focus on proper technique, body positioning, timing, communication, balance, strength, and teamwork while learning Level 1–3 stunt progressions.
Elite Performance Training
Special emphasis is placed on showmanship, including energy, genuine enthusiasm, confidence, eye contact, facial expressions, and overall athletic performance quality throughout routines. Athletes will learn how to perform with confidence and personality while maintaining strong technique and crowd appeal.
Athlete Stretch & Jump Class
Each session combines deep stretching, active flexibility drills, jump technique, and core conditioning exercises to help athletes increase range of motion, improve body control, and reduce the risk of injury. Whether you’re preparing for tryouts, improving your toe touch, or building stronger jumps, this class will help you move with power, precision, and confidence.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Personalized instruction tailored to each athlete’s individual goals and skill progression. Great for extra practice, mastering new skills, or preparing for tryouts and competitions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What ages do you accept?
We offer classes for boys and girls ages 1–18, with programs designed for all skill levels from beginner to advanced.
Does my child need experience to join?
No experience is required for beginner classes. Our coaches will help place athletes in the appropriate class based on age and skill level.
What should athletes wear to class?
Athletes should wear athletic clothing that allows movement. Hair should be pulled back securely, and jewelry should be removed before class. Cheer shoes or athletic sneakers are required for most classes.
Do parents stay during class?
Our classes are close to parents to help athletes stay focused and minimize distractions. Parents are welcome to wait in the hallway or designated waiting area during class time. Only our Tots class includes parents.
Are make-up classes available?
No. Due to limited class sizes and scheduling, missed classes cannot be made up, transferred, or credited.
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes! We offer both private and semi-private lessons for athletes wanting extra practice, skill-specific training, or individualized instruction.
How are athletes placed in classes?
Athletes are placed based on age, experience, current skill level, and coach evaluation to ensure safe progression and proper training.
Do you offer team training?
Yes! We offer Team Tumbling and stunt training for school cheer teams, rec teams, and competitive athletes looking to improve tumbling, stunting, jumps, conditioning, and performance skills.
What happens if there is bad weather?
If classes are canceled due to severe weather or emergencies, families will be contacted as soon as possible through email, text, or social media.

Is tumbling or stunting dangerous?
Athlete safety is our top priority. All skills are taught with proper progression, supervision, and safety procedures. However, participation in cheerleading and tumbling activities does involve some risk of injury.
How do I register for classes?
Registration information will be available through our Stone Alley website, social media pages, or by contacting us directly for current class availability.
Is this a co-ed program?
Absolutely! Our programs are open to both boys and girls.
What should my child bring to class?
Athletes should bring water and come prepared with proper athletic attire and a positive attitude ready to learn and have fun!
