Registration Cost

$225 - Early Bird registration (between February 1st and March 31st, 2026)
$250 - Registration (after March 31st, 2026)

There is a $25 discount for players who register during the Early Bird Registration period. Registration will return to the full fee on April 1st, 2026. Families with multiple players pay the full fee for the first player, a discount of $75 for a second player. There is no fee for a third player.

Payment is due at the time of registration. There is a credit card online payment option for your convenience.

League and Team Placement

Team placement is based on a player’s age as of August 1, 2026.

14-year-old players must be in middle school (8th grade or below) and cannot turn 15 before January 1st, 2027. High school students are not permitted in the UCYFL

Players are required to provide a government issued photo ID as proof of age. Examples of acceptable IDs are Maryland State ID, Military or DOD dependent's ID, passport. School IDs are not acceptable.  Maryland state ID cards can be obtained at any Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration office. Please note, it may take several weeks to receive a Maryland State ID so please plan ahead!

Once an age group roster has been filled, additional players will be placed on a waiting list. If a position opens on an existing team, a player can be moved to the active roster.  If enough players for an age group are placed  on the waiting list, a second team will be formed. There is no registration fee when a player is placed on the waiting list.  A fee is only required when a player is assigned to an active roster.

Equipment Information

All equipment excluding cleats, a protective cup, mouth guard and a practice jersey are provided by LTRC football. That includes game pants, game jerseys, practice pants, helmets, shoulder pads, pants and pads . This equipment is included in the price of registration. It is issued prior to the first practice and must be returned to the LTRC at the conclusion of the season.

Practice Information

Practice for LTRC youth football begins on or around July 27, 2026. The teams practice up to 4 nights per week (Monday-Thursday) in the evenings until games begin on the weekend of August 28th.  Once the season starts (around the last Saturday in August) teams will practice 2-3 nights per week. Games are on Friday nights or Saturdays (at varied times).

Refund Policy

Refunds will be handled on a case by case basis. Any refund that is issued will be subject to an administrative processing fee of $20.00. No refunds will be issued after practices have begun.
