Program Description:
Material Explorers is a vibrant, process-based summer art camp designed to inspire and empower young artists through hands-on exploration of diverse art materials. This innovative program emphasizes creativity, self-expression, and the joy of discovery. Each session is rooted in the belief that every child is an artist, and that through open-ended exploration, they can unlock their unique creative potential.
Mission:
To nurture creativity, confidence, and curiosity in youth through meaningful engagement with art materials, contemporary artistic practices, and collaborative learning in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Goals:
- To provide youth with rich, hands-on experiences that develop creative thinking, problem-solving, and artistic skills.
- To foster a love for the visual arts and encourage individual expression.
- To create a safe, inclusive space where children feel free to experiment, take risks, and connect with others through the creative process.
- To strengthen community bonds through collaborative artmaking and public showcases.

Dates: (all dates in 2026)
- Session 1 - July 13th-17th
- Session 2 - July 20th-24th
- Session 3 - July 27th-31st
- Session 4 - August 3rd-7th
- Session 5 - August 10th-14th
Times:
9am – 3pm with Early Bird drop off 8:30am.
Ages:
Must be going into 4th-9th grade in the Fall of 2026.
Registration fee: (PER SESSION)
Early registration before May 1st - $325
Registration on or after May 1st - $400
Early bird drop off at 8:30am additional $50 PER WEEK/SESSION.
Discounts:
A $50 discount applies for each additional sibling enrolled in the same week, after the first fully-paid child.
