Hereford Zone Recreation and Parks Council

The Hereford Zone Recreation and Parks Council serves the northern Baltimore County area with a wide variety of activities for children and adults. The HZRPC is a non-profit organization qualified under IRS section 501(c)(3).

ADULT PICKLEBALL SEASON BEGINS August 1st!

The Hereford Rec Program in now offering Adult Pickleball for individuals 40 yrs of age or older.  Whether you want to keep things light and less serious or put your skills to the test with advanced play, we’ve got you covered.

(Age determined as of August 1, 2026.)

Cost: $50 per person per session (regardless of registration for beginners or advanced)

We play at Hereford High School in the Gymnasium and Sparks Park, when available.

Program Starting 8/1/2026 and running every Sunday through 10/25/2026.

Pickleball Offerings*:

• 9am – 12pm each Sunday
• 5pm – 8pm Tuesday evenings (when available)

We separate courts when possible, but no longer separate times.  We will do our best to accommodate all levels of play from Beginner to Intermediate and Advanced.  

We will supply the nets, balls, and a few paddles. We recommend you bring your own paddle, please come to the league with some knowledge of the game. Stay tuned for details.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be given up to the first day of the league play, minus $10 for expenses and fees resulting from registration.
