The Hereford Zone Recreation and Parks Council serves the northern Baltimore County area with a wide variety of activities for children and adults. The HZRPC is a non-profit organization qualified under IRS section 501(c)(3).

Program Information

Hereford Field Hockey Club is a new club affiliated with Hereford Zone Parks and Rec Council. Our goal is to develop field hockey players in the Hereford Zone and surrounding areas who have a passion for the sport and a commitment to continuous growth.

We are in the beginning stages of developing the Club for the U-8, U-10, and U-12 age groups. For the 2026-27 Winter season, we will offer one indoor practice per week and participate in a local indoor league. Our U-14 group is currently established and will be participating in numerous indoor tournaments as well as outdoor showcases.

Our mission is to develop skilled, confident, and selfless field hockey players who understand that they are part of something bigger than themselves. We are committed to helping each athlete reach their individual potential by building strong fundamental skills while developing game awareness, decision-making, and strategic understanding.

We believe that great teams are built by great teammates. Through a culture of accountability, respect, and hard work, we emphasize teamwork, communication, and putting the success of the team above individual recognition. Our goal is to create an environment where players grow not only as athletes, but also as leaders and teammates who compete with integrity, support one another, and strive for excellence both on and off the field.

My Neighbors Foundation

My Neighbors Foundation (MNF) is a group of caring neighbors within Northern Baltimore County making a difference in the lives of our community's children. Their goal is to provide the resources and support to help all children participate fully with their peers. Funds are available for school trips, sports and scouting fees, school supplies and extra-curricular activities are just a few of the many ways MNF supports our community's children.
