What:
Futsal is quickly becoming one of the most popular indoor sports throughout the world and has finally made its way to the Hereford Zone! Futsal uses a smaller size, weighted ball which helps develop individual ball skills in soccer players. Teams use smaller rosters to allow all players numerous touches on the ball and a smaller playing field which increases quickness, agility and overall player movement. Futsal is an excellent way to improve younger player's confidence on the ball and overall skill level.

Who:
Open to boys and girls grades 2-8.

When:
Registration will open on November 16, 2025 and close on January 4, 2026 (or once leagues have reached capacity).  Games begin on January 31, 2025.

Cost:
$90 per player. On-line registration is available and the only method to register. *Coaches discount available. Please contact the HZ Futsal chairman for more info prior to registering. Returning Coaches will be given first priority.

Where:
All games will be held at either The Oldfields School Gym located @ 1500 Glencoe Rd, Sparks-Glencoe, MD 21152 or the Hereford Middle School Gym located @ 712 Corbett Rd, Monkton, MD 21111 on Saturday's and Sunday's.  The season will begin 1/31/26 and run to the end of March 2026.
