BOYS TRAVEL BASKETBALL

Grades

The Westminster Boys Travel Basketball program is for boys in grades 4th through 8th. Boys will tryout for the team that corresponds to their current school grade as of September 1, 2024.

Tryouts for 2024-25

Tryouts for the Westminster Travel Boys basketball teams for grades 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders will take place: 

Sunday September 29, 2024, and Sunday October 6, 2024
It will be at Winters Mill high school from both days.

  • 5th grade 10am- 12noon (Main)
  • 7th grade 12noon - 2pm ( Main )
  • 6th grade 12noon - 2pm ( Aux )
  • 4th grade 2pm - 3:30pm ( Aux )
  • 8th grade 3:30pm - 5pm (Main)

Registration Costs per Family

$240.00 for one player (80.00 more for a new uniform) $320.00
$340.00 for two players (160.00 for a new uniform) $500.00
$440.00 for three or more players (240.00 for a new uniform) $680.00
 
If your uniform from last year is still good, and you make the team you do not need to buy a new uniform.
*Uniform fees are separate charges and will be collected as part of the registration process.  ($80.00 per uniform)

Additional Information

 

  • All players will receive a t-shirt and a practice jersey
  • There will be a picture date, but it has not yet been decided
  • Practice times will be scheduled when all gym time is allocated, you will have the same Sunday time as tryouts.
  • All teams will get two practices times a week, or more if teams want to rent extra time.
  • If you cannot make a practice on a day you must inform the coach and Bruce Woodyard.

$20.00 donation at registration for drawing of a $100.00 Gift Certificate to Dicks and $50.00 Gift Certificate to Dicks.

PROGRAM REGISTRATION NOTICE – ONLY SELECTED PLAYERS SHOULD REGISTER

By entering this site to register, you acknowledge that your child has been selected to participate on a Westminster Boys Travel Basketball Team and you have received official notification from a Westminster Boys Travel program official. Any persons registering for Travel Basketball Programs that have not been officially selected will not be accepted and the fees processed will be refunded less a 20% service processing charge. Only Players officially notified for team selections are permitted to register for Westminster Boys Travel Basketball programs.
