Season Overview

SBYSL is excited to launch our Fall 2026 season! The league is open to players born 2008 - 2023. Once again, we are happy to offer both coed and girls-only opportunities.

Our registration window is Monday, June 1 - Sunday, June 21. After that, we will open a waitlist to fill remaining spots on a first-come/first-served basis.

Tentative Divisions

PreK3 (Sept 2022 - Aug 2023) - Coed - one-hour Saturday clinic and game only
PreK4 (Sept 2021 - Aug 2022) - Coed - one-hour Saturday clinic and game only

Kindergarten - Coed - One practice plus Saturday game
1st Grade - Coed - One practice plus Saturday game
1st & 2nd Grade - Girls-only - One practice plus Saturday game
2nd & 3rd Grade - Coed - One practice plus Saturday game
3rd - 5th Grade - Girls-only - One practice plus Saturday game
4th - 5th Grade - Coed - One practice plus Saturday game
6th - 8th Grade - Coed - One practice plus Saturday game
6th - 8th Grade - Girls-only - One practice plus Saturday game
9th-12th Grade - Coed - Saturday game, pick-up style

League Fees

Your fees pay for uniforms, team and league equipment, referees, field rentals and maintenance, grounds crew, insurance, and administrative costs. All coaches and SYBSL Board members are unpaid volunteers.

Players born 9/1/2021 through 8/31/2023 (PreK3 and PreK4)
- $100 if registered by 6/21
- $115 after 6/21 until we reach capacity

Players born 8/31/2021 or earlier
- $150 if registered by 6/21
- $175 after 6/21 until we reach capacity

If you would like to request payment assistance, please contact sbysl.treasurer@gmail.com BEFORE YOU REGISTER for a discount code that can be applied at checkout. Please include the player's name and the amount you are able to pay. Please note that there is a $25 minimum payment for all players. 

Season Schedule (11 weeks, 10 games)

Week of Aug. 24 - practices and games begin
Saturdays, Aug. 29 - Nov. 7 - weekly games

** No games Labor Day weekend. Yes, we will play on Saturday, Oct. 10. **

Location

Practices and games will be held at Latrobe Park, unless otherwise notified by your child's coaches.

Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers who will bring positive energy and help instill a growth mindset in our players. 

Registered parents/guardians may volunteer to Coach or Assistant Coach during the registration process.  

Adults who do not have a player in the program, youth volunteers, and anyone else interested in helping out should please click here to complete your volunteer submission.

All volunteers must pass a background check and complete CDC’s “Heads Up” concussion training and review the league’s Abuse Prevention Code of Conduct. More info is available on our website, here.
