Spring 2026 Registration Opens November 18, 2025

The 2026 Spring Lacrosse Season is right around the corner and registration will open on November 18, 2025.

Early Bird Age Determination Registration Details BEFORE January 1, 2026
Families that register BEFORE January 1, 2026 will register at the following fees:

• Pockets CGL ($85) - Born 09/01/2019 - 8/31/2021 (pre-K through K)  
• Tykers CGL ($120) – Born 09/01/2017 – 8/31/2019 (1st and 2nd grade) 
• Lightning ($185) - Born 09/01/2015 - 8/31/2017 (3rd and 4th grade)  
• Middies ($185) - Born 09/01/2013 - 08/31/2015 (5th and 6th grade)  
• Juniors ($185) - Born 09/01/2011 - 08/31/2013 (7th and 8th grade)

Families that register ON or AFTER January 1, 2026 will register at the following fees:

• Pockets CGL ($100) - Born 09/01/2019 - 8/31/2021 (pre-K through K)  
• Tykers CGL ($130) – Born 09/01/2017 – 8/31/2019 (1st and 2nd grade) 
• Lightning ($195) - Born 09/01/2015 - 8/31/2017 (3rd and 4th grade)  
• Middies ($195) - Born 09/01/2013 - 08/31/2015 (5th and 6th grade)  
• Juniors ($200) - Born 09/01/2011 - 08/31/2013 (7th and 8th grade)

Registration for the Spring 2026 season closes on February 22, 2026.  A $20.00 late fee will apply to any registrations submitted after this date. Please note that roster spots are not guaranteed for late registrations, as team formation will already be underway.  No registrations will be accepted after March 1, 2025.

North Carroll Girls Lacrosse Fundraising and OPT OUT

Our program thrives on the support of our families and NCGL fundraising. These contributions enhance our athletes' NCGL experience, and we kindly request that families participate in one of the following ways to support these efforts:

• Participating in fundraising opportunities announced at the beginning of the season.
  OR
• Selecting the "OPT OUT OF FUNDRAISING OPTION” by paying $100 at the time of registration.

If you select this option, you will not be asked to participate in fundraising events.  Families who choose not to participate in our fundraising activities after registering may still opt out and we request that they honor the $100 opt-out fee.

PRACTICE INFORMATION

This season, we're focused on enhancing the athlete experience by grouping teams of similar ages for practice times and days. This will allow us to consolidate practice days, times, and locations, ultimately providing more opportunities for individual and team skill development at each age level.

Specific practice schedules and team assignments will be announced by March 1st and vary by age group, and due to Carroll County Parks and Rec. regulations, fields will not open for practice until March 16th.

PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED IN ORDER TO ATTEND PRACTICE.

CLINIC INFORMATION

We offer Four FREE Indoor Clinics every Sunday in February (1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd). Pockets and Tykers from 11:00a to 12:00p. Lightning, Middies and Juniors 12:00p to 1:00p. Uniform sizing will also be available at the all-clinic days, due to a new distributor we highly recommend everyone get re-sized to make sure uniforms fit properly.

NEW THIS YEAR!

To better prepare for MYLA league competition, Middies and Juniors teams will have practice times available at the Coppermine Pantherplex Stadium field before March 16th. These teams will have use of the stadium March 3rd, 5th, 10th and 12th.

Lightning age groups may have the ability to play in either the MYLA league or CGL based on team enrollment.

TEAM PLACEMENT (LIGHTNING THROUGH JUNIORS LEVEL)

Team placement is solely based on evaluations. Siblings in the same age group can request to play together, but they will be placed at the lower-evaluated sibling's level (e.g., if one is B-level and the other C-level, they'll play on the C team). No other requests will be granted.

Refund Policy (Tykers through Juniors Level): No refunds will be given after 11:59 pm on February 26th. This allows the girls to attend 2 evaluations. If for any reason you would like to withdraw from the program, please do so before 11:59 pm on February 26th.

Refund Policy (Pockets): Full refunds will be granted up until the start of the Pockets season, March 1st.
